Open Job Position
Dear Hope Family,
My family and I spent the last seven wonderful years serving in a church plant in a tiny town called St. Francisville, located on the Mississippi River just north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Living in a small town and serving in a small church plant gave us the opportunity to experience aspects of shared church life that we would never trade. One thing we did not have easy access to, however, was a robust children’s ministry.
What we have experienced at Hope in both the children’s and youth ministries has been deeply encouraging and nourishing for our family. Lisa Applegate and Olivia Morganti, along with all of the volunteer teachers and helpers, have been a tremendous blessing to the Shaws.
As we have already shared, Olivia (who has done an amazing job) is shifting gears in this next season of her life as a mother of three. We are currently looking for someone to fill her role as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. This is a part-time position that would be a great blessing to our staff and congregation, and an important part of the kingdom work we will continue pursuing together as Hope Church in the coming years. We hope that all of you have enjoyed (at least parts of!) these winter weather “events” and, more importantly, have been protected from any serious damage to people or property.
We look forward to gathering and worshiping together again soon. We are watching the weather and will make a decision by tomorrow evening for Worship Services and Sunday School.
