Staying Connected
Dear Hope Church Family,
Those closest to me have both told me a number of times they were unaware of Hope events that had been shared in multiple ways. I think they are not alone as so many of us navigate lives with busy (and often conflicting) work, school, sports, family care, and volunteering schedules. Personally, despite having done most of the communicating, I would still miss things if I didn’t take advantage of the Google Calendar subscription.
As we continue to grow and evolve in our communications and the scope of what is offered at Hope, I thought it would be good to provide a reminder of the communication channels available to you.
The Google Calendar is an easy way to see updated time/date on events and make sure you don’t miss anything. There are instructions on how to use it at the bottom of the Calendar page on our website which also has all upcoming events. I highly recommend subscribing which can be done from a computer browser as well as on Androids and iPhones.
Looking Up (this email newsletter) is where we are able to provide the most detail and a more extensive list of what’s going on. You can click on most images to get the full event information and registration (if there is one).
Social Media posts are made on Sundays at noon via Facebook and Instagram for all events in the upcoming week. We also post periodically about what is coming up in the next 3-4 weeks.
Scrolling Announcements on the big screens before/between services.
The bulletin has a list on page 13 with basic information (date/time/registration).
Life Together is the part of the service before the sermon where we highlight a few announcements.
Church Center has all events listed if you login to our church. Download the app for easy use on your phone.
I hope these avenues make it easier to stay connected!
Blessings,
Sarah
