Children’s Ministry Assistant
Dear Church Family,
I want to share an important update regarding our Children’s Ministry staff. Our wonderful Children’s Ministry Assistant, Olivia Morganti, has made the thoughtful decision to step down from her role as she and her husband, Matthew, focus on raising their growing family. This next season of life is a precious one for Olivia, and we celebrate with her as she gives her full attention to the blessings ahead.
Olivia has served our church with such grace, dedication, and warmth. She has been a vital part of helping our ministry run smoothly—from greeting nursery workers to preparations for Sunday mornings and special events—and she has done it all with a joyful and willing heart. Her love for our children and families has been evident in every detail she handled and every moment she offered her time and care. We are deeply grateful for the heart and excellence she has poured into this ministry.
We also want to express special thanks to Matthew, whose steady support has allowed Olivia to serve so faithfully. We recognize that ministry is often a shared calling, and Matthew’s encouragement behind the scenes has been a meaningful part of Olivia’s ability to give so fully.
Although she is stepping down, Olivia will continue in her role through the beginning of April as she helps train the next person God brings to us. We are incredibly grateful for her willingness to make this transition smooth and supportive.
As we look ahead, we are prayerfully seeking someone who feels called to serve in the Children’s Ministry Assistant role. If you or someone you know senses God’s leading, please reach out to me, Lisa Applegate at: Children@hopechurchws.org. The job description is also listed below.
I invite you to join me in thanking Olivia for the incredible service she has given to me and to our church family. We are excited to rejoice with her in the beautiful season ahead and look forward to blessing her as she transitions into this new chapter.
“Serve one another humbly in love.” — Galatians 5:13
With gratitude,
Lisa Applegate
